Television credits include: Dau Dŷ a Ni, Mici in Tipyn o Stad, Dafydd Meirion in A470 (ITV) and in a number of short films. Earlier this year Dan worked for Disney on the forthcoming Muppet Movie sequel at Pinewood studios (he got to meet his heroes Kermit, Fozzie and Animal in the flesh!) Muppets Most Wanted will be released this Spring.
Dan is a professional signed guitarist/singer-songwriter/ multi- instrumentalist and has had recent success with his first solo studio album Tro Ar Fyd reaching no 3 in BBC Radio Cymru’s chart. He is a regular on Welsh Daniel was raised in Rhosllannerchrugog and trained East 15 Acting School. During training he enjoyed roles as De Flores in The Changeling, Tewson in Fen, Emmanuel in Widows and Algernon in The Importance Of Being Earnest. In 2004 he was a BBC’s Carleton Hobbs Bursary Award finalist.

He also fronts the Welsh band Daniel Lloyd a Mr Pinc who have released several Welsh language recordings and have toured extensively over the past 10 years. A career highlight of theirs was a performance at the Bryn Terfel Faenol festival in

Dan began his career with Theatr na nÓg almost ten years ago... he is thrilled to be appearing in Tom.

Newbury), Martin Guerre (Watermill Newbury), Songs For A New World (Young Opera Company Freiburg). Pantomimes include: Arabian Nights (Watermill Newbury), Cinderella (New Wolsey Ipswich) and Jack and the Beanstalk (Stafford Theatre).
Kit appears on the cast recordings of Spamalot and Dracula and has written a musical called My Land’s Shore, based on the Welsh hero Dic Penderyn and the Merthyr Riots (a recording of which is available now).
Kit is thrilled to be joining this production that pays tribute to one of his all-time idols.

Dean’s panto work incudes Prince Charming in Cinderella (Pavillion, Porthcawl and Oakengates Theatre, Telford), Beast in Beauty and the Beast (Aylesbury Civic Centre) and Prince Charming in Sleeping Beauty (Catford Theatre).
Television work includes Songs of Praise and A League of Their Own.

Chris Slade

Kieran Bailey

Kieran has been playing piano and drums from an early age. He began to take an interest in singing and acting in his late teens before going on to study drum kit and percussion at London's DrumTech.

Over the last five years he has worked professionally in studio recording, live music and theatre.

His musical credits include: Charlotte Church recording of EPs 1,2,3 and 4 along with the 2012/13 tour of UK, US and Canada including dates at SXSW Festival in Texas, Canadian Music Week in Toronto and live sessions for Billboard in New York, Rhydian Roberts (X Factor), Steve Balsamo, Magenta (Best Album and Best Live Band at CRS Awards 2009), Jamie Smith's Mabon (European Tour 2010), Sion Russell Jones (UK Tour 2012), P&O Cruise Ship Pit Band Drummer for Oriana, Oceana and Artemis ships (backing artists including Jimmy James, Bobby Crush and Headliners Theatre Company), Christina Booth (Album recording and Launch 2010), Avenue Q Pit Band (Welsh premiere 2013), RENT Pit Band (Welsh Premiere 2010), Claire Simone (Burning Album 2008), The Semantics (Album 2012) plus many more. Ben has Musically Directed countless shows all over the UK and abroad. He has also written music for plays at Nottingham Playhouse, Derby Playhouse, and arranged music for many other productions nationwide. He wrote a musical version of Two Gentlemen of Verona which was performed in Seoul, South Korea. He also Musically Directed Little Shop of Horrors at Birmingham Rep Theatre. For the last 10 years Ben has been working as Musical Director for the New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich on productions including Little Shop of Horrors, Mods and Rox, and many Rock'n'Roll Pantos .


Sean Crowley

Sean studied theatre design at Wimbledon School of Art, graduating in 1985 and then worked across the design spectrum, as a designer and assistant designer, in Opera, Dance, Theatre, film and television.
In 1993, he left London and returned to Wales to live in Swansea with his wife and four children. Over the past 18 years, he has designed over 150 productions for companies across UK and Europe. Including, Aberystwyth Arts Centre, The Wales Theatre Company, The Tron Theatre, Glasgow, The Grand Theatre, Swansea, The Torch Theatre, Milford, The Sherman Theatre Cardiff, Theatr Y Byd, Theatr Nanog, Script Cymru, The Hampstead Theatre London, The Soho Theatre London, The Birmingham Stage Company, Northampton Theatre Royal, St Pauli Theater Hamburg, The Hamburger Kammerspieler the Theater am Kurfürstendamm, Berlin, and The Danish Royal Opera.
He became Head of Design at The Royal Welsh College of Music, Drama in 1999 and was made an honorary fellow of the College in 2007. In 2008, he became Director of Drama, and in 2010, he became an Associate Director of the Torch theatre Milford Haven
He was Chair of the Association of Theatre Design Courses for 9 years, is a member of the Linbury Prize committee, and as Vice Chair of the OISTAT Education Commission, was Project Leader and designer for the Prague Quadrennial international student festival Scenofest, in 2007. In March 2011 he was the exhibition designer for the Society of British Theatre Designers national exhibition Transformation & Revelation held at RWCMD in Cardiff, March 2011. He became Chair of the Society of British Theatre Designers in September 2011 and has now working as the Project Leader for World Stage Design 2013 which will also be held in Cardiff.

Mike Beer

Mike started his career at the Sherman Theatre Cardiff in 1986. Since then he has toured theatre and corporate events worldwide with companies including DV8 Physical Theatre, Theatre Royal Bath, Bristol Old Vic, Diversions Dance, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Birmingham Stage, Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Act Productions, Fiery Angel, Theatre Gwynedd, Imagination, Sony, and Ford Motor Car Company.
Mike's designs include: Coasting and Treasure Island (Bristol Old Vic), A Provincial Life, The Passion, Love Steals Us From Loneliness, The Persians, The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning, In Water I'm Weightless, Coriolan/us and Branches (National Theatre Wales), Deffro'r Gwanwyn (Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru), BFG (Fiery Angel), Great Expectations (Aberystwyth Arts Centre), Desire Lines, The Borrowers and Merlin (The Sherman Theatre Company), The Firework Maker's Daughter and Danny the Champion of the World (Birmingham Stage Company), Single Spies, Legal Fictions and The Importance of Being Earnest (The Theatre Royal Bath), Don Quixote (West Yorkshire Playhouse).

Ceri trained at WCMD and has designed lighting for National Theatre Wales, The Torch Theatre, University of Southern California, Catrin Finch, The Sherman Theatre, Fiery Angel, Royal and Derngate Northampton, Birmingham Stage Company, Colchester Mercury Theatre, Salisbury Playhouse, Oxford Touring Theatre, Unicorn Theatre London, National Youth Theatre Wales, Derby Playhouse, Leicester Haymarket, Dalier Sylw, Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, Theatr na n'Óg, Dragons Breath Theatre, FAB Theatre, Shock n Awe, New Vic Theatre, Theatr Bara Caws, Hijinx Theatre, Made in Wales and BBC NOW. He worked for 8 years as production manager for Cardiff Festival and is a founding member of Mappa Mundi Theatre, and has worked on many of their productions for the past 20 years.



Mike James

Ebbw Vale born Mike James has over thirty years experience working in theatre and TV as a writer, producer and director.

As Artistic Director of the Sherman Theatre Cardiff and also of the Torch Theatre, West Wales, he directed over sixty main stage shows including the hit musical Blood Brothers and has written many musical stage adaptations including 'Vanity Fair', 'Tess of the D'Urbervilles', 'History of Mr Polly, 'Gregory's Girl' as well as writing and directing eleven musical shows for children.

He is currently developing a new play with Terry Hands at Theatre Clwyd based on the story of the BBC's move to Bangor during the war, which will be presented as a joint production with Clwyd and Theatre Wolsey, Ipswich and is likely to be the opening production of a brand new theatre complex in Bangor at the end of next year.



Geinor Styles

Geinor Styles - Director

Geinor Styles was born in Merthyr Tydfil and attended Ysgol Gyfun Rhydfelen. In 1988 she spent the summer teaching drama in California, and then attended the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama to study stage management. Geinor graduated in 1991 and worked with Dalier Sylw before joining Theatre West Glamorgan as their resident stage manager. In 1996 she was given the opportunity to direct Spam Man the award winning play at the National Eisteddfod in Bala. Following the success of the production she was invited to direct the Theatre in Education productions at Theatre West Glamorgan now Theatr na n'Og. In 1998 she became the company's artistic director, and has directed over 30 Theatre in Education shows and 10 UK Tours. She has written over 15 new plays for the company.
