Aled Herbert

Aled is from Ystradgynlais in the Swansea Valley. He gained a degree in ‘Theatre’ at Trinity College, Carmarthen. Aled has toured extensively around the UK and Ireland with many theatre companies including; National Theatre Wales, Sherman Cymru and Theatr na nÓg. He has worked with Theatr na nÓg on numerous shows including, ‘Big Bad Wolf’, ‘Me a Giant’, 'The Ghost of Morfa Colliery, ‘Halt! Who goes there?’ and ‘We Need Bees’. His last TV appearance was on ‘Alys’ for S4C and he recently won a Royal Television Society award for the film ‘Mourning of the Valley.’ In his spare time Aled enjoys collecting autographs and riding rollercoasters. Aled would like to thank each and every one of you for coming to see the show.


Tonya Smith

Tonya was born and raised in Swansea, where she was a member of West Glamorgan Youth Theatre and the National Youth Theatre of Wales. She went on to train at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Her television work includes DaVinci’s Demons, Emmerdale, Casualty, Gwaith Cartref,Pobol Y Cwm, 2 Dy a ni ,Treflan, Dirty Work, Trail of Guilt,The Secret World of Michael Fry, Mortimer’s Law, The Bill, Iechyd Da, Pam fi Duw and Y Glas. Theatre work includes Ty Barnarda Alba, Tyner yw’r Lleuad, a Y Pair ( Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru), Our County’s Good ( Watermill Theatre/West Berkshire), Cancer Time (Latchmere/theatre 503) The Cruicible (Young Vic workshop), Witch Child (One Woman show at Taliesin arts Centre), Flora’s war, The Secret, Word for Word, Hard Times, Silas Marner, Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Damwain a Hap (all for Clwyd Theatr Cymru), Anne Frank (one woman show New Vic Stoke) and Christmas Carol (New Victoria Stoke) Jack and the Beanstalk and Hansel and Gretel (Torch Theatre) and Robin Hood (UK productions, Malvern)
Film work includes Blue Monday, Omlet and The Dark. Numerous radio plays and voice overs. She is probably best known however for her role as Yvonne in Pobol y Cwm


Jack Quick

Jack has worked for Theatr na nÓg many times and is looking forward to working on another successful production. His theatre credits include: We need Bees, The Ghost of Morfa Colliery, Halt! Who Goes There, Innocent As Strawberries and Gladiator
His Television credits include Dyddiadur Dews (S4C), Ancestry commercial (Wordley Production), Glasses Direct commercial (Wordley Production) and Electoral Commission ‘What’ commercial (DLKW Lowe)

Jack has recently been working with ‘Lupus Films Ltd’ recording Toot The Tiny Tug Boat.


Richard Nichols

Richard is from Porthcawl and trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
Theatre work: Still Life, The Compleat Female Stage Beauty, A Midsummer Night's Dream, She Stoops To Conquer, Moll Flanders, The Canterbury Tales, Macbeth, Hamlet, King Lear, The Three Musketeers, As You Like It, The Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night and Coriolanus (all for Mappa Mundi). Adventures in the Skin Trade (performed at the Sydney Opera House), Here Be Monsters and Penblwydd Poenus Pete (Theatr Iolo). Danny The Champion of the World (Birmingham Stage), A Christmas Carol, The Merchant of Venice, Twelfth Night, Cymbeline and Under Milk Wood (Wales Theatre Co). McMurphy in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Of Mice And Men, Jack & the Beanstalk, Cinderella and Dead Funny (Torch Theatre). An Enemy of the People (Theatr Clwyd), Table Manners and Kes (Sherman Cymru), The Butterfly Hunter/Heliwr Y Pili Pala, Cider With Rosie and A Child’s Christmas in Wales (Theatr na n’Og).
TV work: The Keith in Scrum 4, Dr. Who, My Family, Casualty, Lucky Bag, The Bench and High Hopes (BBC), Byw Celwydd, Ar Y Tracs, Pobol Y Cwm, Con Passionate, Dinas, Iechyd Da and A Mind to Kill/Heliwr (S4C).
Film: Relative Values and Hollol Mind-Blowing.
Richard directed Much Ado About Nothing and The Canterbury Tales for Mappa Mundi.
