Ian is a Sound Designer and Engineer based in South Wales.
Recent designs include ‘A Christmas Carol’ (Sherman Theatre), ‘Josephine’ (Theatre Royal Bath), ’Faith’ (RSC/Coventry City of Culture), ’The Merthyr Stigmatist’ (Theatre Uncut/Sherman Theatre), ‘The Arandora Star’ - Radio Drama (Theatr Na nÓg), ‘Into the Light’ (Hijinx), ‘The Hunting of the Snark’ (RGM Productions) UK Tour.
Other roles include production sound engineer for ‘The Glee Club’ (Out of Joint), ‘Y Cylch Sialc’ (Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru) and a longstanding role at the Hay Literary Festival.
Ian also lectures in sound for theatre and supervises student productions at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
