Grammy winner Amy Wadge is one of the UK’s most prolific contemporary songwriters. Amy’s most notable success to date comes from her long established writing partnership with Ed Sheeran. Amy and Ed’s track Thinking Out Loud was the third single from Sheeran’s second album, the triple Grammy nominated X (Multiply). It went to No. 1 in the UK chart in November 2014 after spending 19 weeks in the Top 40, breaking the record for the longest ever ascent to the peak position. Closer to home, Amy has twice won Best Female Artist at the Welsh Music Awards, the first time ahead of Charlotte Church and the second ahead of Cerys Matthews. More recently she has enchanted TV audiences with her soulful soundtrack to the BBC Drama Keeping Faith.
