AS AN ACTOR

Keiron is most widely known for playing hapless dentist ROGER BAILEY in BBC1’s sit-com MY FAMILY. Keiron has worked extensively with MAPPA MUNDI THEATRE COMPANY over its 30 year history playing Hamlet, Henry V, Feste in Twelfth Night, Orlando in As You Like It, Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Valmont in Dangerous Liaisons, Sir Charles Sedley in Compleat Female Stage Beauty and various characters in Still Life and most recently Sir Edward Clarke in the Trials of Oscar Wilde. He also wrote Still Life, co-adapted Canterbury Tales and The Three Musketeers for the company, adapted Moll Flanders and directed Tartuffe.

He has worked extensively for Radio 4 and Radio Wales.

 

AS A WRITER

Keiron is also a writer adapting AESOP’S FABLES, CYRANO, THE WHITE FEATHER and BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE for Theatr na nÓg as well as STILL LIFE, MOLL FLANDERS, THE THREE MUSKETEERS and THE CANTERBURY TALES for Mappa Mundi Theatre Company. He also writes and performs in the podcast THE FIFTEEN with Francois Pandolfo.

With co–writer Giles New he has written extensively for TV and Radio, credits include SADIE J (CBBC), GROOVE HIGH (Disney Channel), SHAUN THE SHEEP (Aardman) and MITCHELL AND WEBB  (BBC 2).

In 2021 their film A CHRISTMAS NUMBER ONE premiered on SKY CINEMA, and recently THE CANTERVILLE GHOST, their animated retelling of Oscar Wilde’s short story starring Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie was released in cinemas.

They have several ongoing live action and animated feature film projects with LUPUS FILMS and ULYSSES FILMPRODUKTION, one of which is OUT OF FRAME which recently won a best screenplay award at the International Animation Festival in Stuttgart.

Keiron is also currently co-writing a theatre show for his character, Martin Decker, with Kevin Jones. MARTIN DECKER: DAD, and will tour Wales in 2025.

Keiron has also written and directed several short films of his own, ARE WE THERE YET, FRIEND, WHAT GOES ON TOUR, DAD’S HAND and has helped to create dozens of short films with students he teaches at UWTSD in Carmarthen.
