Music is the way DJ Dani Walkman functions, it’s how he makes sense of the world and everyone in it.

So as a volunteer at St Bevan’s Hospital Radio he has the perfect job, because he believes everyone has their song.

That is until he meets Peggy, a patient on East 5, who spins him around her little finger as he tries to guess her song.

In a new translation by Jeremi Cockram, this joyful play by Katherine Chandler, is a love letter to the NHS and to all of those who volunteer for it.

Originally commissioned by National Theatre Wales in 2018 this one man show performed by Dion Davies and directed by Phil Clark and Christian Patterson, will lift your spirits and reaffirm your faith in people.

This production celebrates a new initiative, Consortiwm Cymraeg. The Consortiwm is a partnership between Theatr na nÓg production company and three venue in the south Wales Valleys - Theatr Soar, Ystradgynlais Welfare Hall and Maesteg Town Hall.
